Capacity Building
We are aiming to developing the capacity of children, their parents and local self governance representatives bringing about the behvioural change to secure the rights of children.
Objective
- To acquaint children and their parents with different acts and policy to handle child abuse and child in need cases
- To provide update information, knowledge and skills in an easy and simple manner to plan, implement and manage different child development programs
- To provide appropriate and necessary training to different stakeholders (road side restaurants, factories, stone crusher unit) for the shake of rights of children through inter and intra institutional coordination
- To design a need based, simple and comprehensive training program for stakeholders to secure rights of children
- To create a platform where children understand and advocate for child centered and child friendly policy and act.
Our Initiation
- Capacity building of Child Rights conducted in Betonati block of Mayurbhanj district of Odisha state. A total number 32 children (12 – 17 year) were participated in the program.
- A Theater Workshop conducted in Baliguda, Kandhamal, Odisha. 42 children from different places of Baliguda subdivision were participated. During the workshop children were learn to create awareness among tribal and backward community to create consciousness about education and child rights.
- Training Program on POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offence) Act for 14 – 18 years children conducted in Betonati (Mayurbhanj, Odisha) and Jujumara (Sambalpur, Odisha). In this training program 59 children were participated in two phases.
