Migrant workers need urgent support
The current COVID Crisis in India has caused a massive surge of migrant workers returning to their villages from other states where lockdowns have been imposed. Having lost their daily income jobs, how will they, their families and children survive?
500 families, a total of app 2500 people in Balasore, Keonjhar and Kandhamal district in Odisha have been severely affected. They have no savings to live off and the elderly have pensions of less than
500 INR (<10 USD) per month. For them to survive, they are in urgent need of support.
